in the community. Sanitation services are in operation Monday through Saturday,
excluding holidays.

city services for holidays and during periods of extremely windy or muddy conditions. For questions
regarding the landfill, contact the county weed department at 620-544-2566.
One full-time employee and three relief employees from other
departments maintain the following pickup schedule.

If you require an extra pickup besides your regularly scheduled days,
please contact the city office.
SEWER DEPARTMENT

throughout Hugoton. The sewer mains are cleaned on a biannual schedule.
The sewer department employs one full-time employee working
under the supervision of the Outside Utilities Supervisor.
For questions regarding sewer and sanitation services, contact
the city office at 620-544-8531 and speak to Dean Banker.
